Ford GT40 race car

This car is probably the most memorable Fords ever made the GT40.This car was made in the 1960’s (1965-1968). It was the fastest race car around in that day, topping over 200 MPH (400 KPH). Beating Ferrari and Porsche, it won the 24 hours Le Mans four times in a row, from 1966 to 1969 (in 1967 with a different body). The type of transmission was a 5-speed manual, with over 550 HP, it was easy to get to 200 MPH. The engine was a 4737 cc (289 CID) V-8, the width was about 70 in. (1778 mm).
